Torres To Move To Russia?

The Chelsea striker may make a shocking move to the Russian team Makhachkala during the summer transfer window after his poor performance for Chelsea.

Chelsea forward Fernando Torres may be off to the Russian team Anzhi Makhachkala  in the summer. Anzhi would like the Chelsea Spaniard who has been misfiring this season to lineup along side Samuel Eto’o to form one of the worlds most expensive strike partnerships and are willing to pay £45 million to make it happen. Torres who transferred from Liverpool for £50 has only scored 7 goals in 36 games but have Chelsea had enough?

Chelsea have drawn ambitious replacements for Torres in Real Madrid duo Gonzalo Higuain and record breaking Cristiano Ronaldo for an incredible €100 million (£83.6million).  Chelsea also have a back up plan in the form of Napoli pair Edison Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi for a joint price of €70 million (£58.5 million).

Chelsea may be looking to remove the Spanish striker who has played below par since joining Chelsea in 2011, scoring his first goal after an embarrassing 903 minutes on the pitch, and the English giants may want to look for someone who fits into their team a little more smoothly.

Torres may also be looking for a fresh start and to get his reputation for being an amazing striker back with another team that may suit his style of play more.
