With both of them receiving hardly any playing time in the recent big games, the Spanish Giants are releasing them for what could be considered a bargain.
According to Spanish newspaper MARCA, Real Madrid are considering selling both superstars for a respective €70 Million (£57 Million). This, in my opinion, could prove to be quite a good deal and there are already a number of Premier League clubs interested in acquiring their services.
Higuain has been second to Karim Benzema this season and his agent has come out and made his voice heard – saying that a move to the Premier League would be better because he would get more playing time. Even though being the first choice striker last season he hasn’t been able to start the big matches – and that’s what’s frustrating him. But even at that he is the third top scorer for Real with 25 goals this season!
Kaka on the other hand has been off-form in recent weeks. His impact when coming off the bench during a game has been minimal and has been second to German international Mesut Ozil.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been linked with the pair of them and a summer move for either seems to be the most likely option. We don’t know how much each one would cost individually but it could be €30 million for Higuain and €40 Million for Kaka.
