Reports today are that Liverpool FC are weighing up the possibility of making a bid for France Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris (Lyon).
The 25 year old goalkeeper is said to be happy at the French club but Liverpool see him as the ideal man to replace Pepe Reina in goal as the 29 year old is not getting any younger and he himself has been linked with a move away from Anfield.
New Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has made LLoris his number one choice to replace Pepe should the Spanaird move onto pastures new. It is believed that the Anfield outfit will need to bid in the region of £15 million to get their man.
Reports in April were that Tottenham were hopeful of signing LLoris themselves but things have significantly changed for the North London Club in recent times with them firstly missing out on Champions League football, then sacking Harry Redknapp. It remains to be seen if perspective new manager Andre Villas-Boas would want to continue that interest.
