Modric – I want Madrid move

The Croatian star has told coach Andre Villas Boas he wants out of White Hart Lane.

After missing the last two training sessions that new Head Coach AVB has directed, the midfield maestro has told the Portuguese coach that he has no intention of remaining at White Hart Lane next season.

Spanish newspapers Marca and AS  reported that Modric missed the last two training sessions, and drove into the training camp yesterday before departing 30 minutes afterwards.

The Tottenham midfielder has been instrumental in clinching 4th place but since there isn’t any Champions League football available next season then it is clear why the Croat wants to leave.

However an agreement over transfer fees is yet to be found since Real Madrid have not yet met Tottenhams £35m asking price. But the Daily Mirror have reported that Real will not pay more than £27m.
