The Blaugrana are looking to make a bid for Arsenal’s Song if they cannot lure in Javi Martinez.

Barcelona are considering a £12.5m move for Alex Song after his impressive season with the Gunners.
The Cameroon international linked up amazingly with last season’s top scorer Van Persie, and caught the attention of one of the best clubs in the world.
The Arsenal midfielder hasn’t stated anything himself, however with two years left on his contract he is in a position to negotiate a move should that be what he desires.
Barcelona are looking to bolster their defense after letting Seydou Keita leave, and struggled last season with the injury of talisman Carles Puyol leaving Sergio Busquets and Javier Mascherano in defense.
Reports also suggest that Song and Cesc Fabregas – who left north London for the Nou Camp a year ago – maintain a strong friendship. And coach Tito Vilanova will move for Song – a decision sanctioned by the players and coaching staff – to the tune of £12.5m.
