According to a report by The People a Chelsea deal for Wigan Athletic’s Victor Moses is extremely likely to happen very soon. The Blues were heavily linked this week with a £7.5million straight up cash bid for the 21-year-old and the paper also has claims claiming that insiders are saying the bid will go ahead if there is enough guaranteed cash which will be hard to get after the huge amounts Chelsea have spent already this transfer window for Oscar and Hazard.
Chelsea were linked early last month with a bid of £9million of which only £6million was guaranteed, the rest was linked to various performance-related bonuses which did not seem good enough for Wigan Athletic. The paper also added that new signing Oscar has been telling Neymar about the club.
The two are team-mates in the Brazil Olympic side and Neymar is being linked with a move to a top European side either next summer or the summer of 2014.
“While we are in London I have been telling Neymar about the ambition of Chelsea,” Oscar said. “When the time comes for him to join a top European club I hope I can persuade him.”
