The 20-year-old Denmark international has been linked with United on numerous occasions in the past but says he is ready for the new season with the Dutch champions which rules out any moves to Old Trafford anytime soon.
“I’m ready to play a major role here at Ajax,” he told NU Sport in Holland.
“It’s amazing that I am one of the most experienced players in a club so important at only 20 years old but, for me and my career, it is a good thing.”
