Reports claim that Arsenal could be doing a quick deal for Alex Song with Barcelona which would involve the Catalan side’s Cristian Tello, a swap deal.
The youngster has not been given a shirt number when Barcelona announced their full squad list earlier this week amidst rumours he could be on his way out of the club. Liverpool have long been linked with interest but reports from Spain claim he could be on his way to the Emirates as part of a deal for Song.
Barcelona reportedly wont bid any higher than £15million for Song, a figure much lower than Arsenal’s valuation, but Sport newspaper in the Spanish city claims that Tello could be the makeweight in any deal they are thinking of. New coach Tito Vilanova does not rate Tello as highly as his predecessor Pep Guardiola but Song is now Barca’s number one target for the transfer summer.
To me selling Alex Song is suicidal .He is one of the key players who has improved greatly.Arsenal may not forgive itself when this guy flies high away from the Emirates
