Aguero believes that Officials prefer homegrown players

Sergio Aguero has claimed that he has fears that the Premier League’s foreign stars are given a much harder ride by referees than home-grown or established stars.

“There will always be mistakes for any team and at Fulham he got the decision wrong but that can happen in any game. All we can do is not let that get to us and just keep on playing our game.”

“But that is normal. We just play our game, and the referee’s job is to know who is tricking him and who is not.”

“Here in England, there are almost as many foreign players as English players and it’s not right that some have a privilege that others don’t.”

“We can’t choose between the two,” he said. “Like last year, we have to do well in the Premier League and then try to do as well as we can in Europe, as well as the FA Cup.
“We will approach each one with as much seriousness as the others.

“They are all important for us, for everyone. Every team wants to win them and every player wants to win them.

“For me, a Champions League game is as important as a Premier League game. You have to do all you can to win both.”

“That is the big test for a great team,” said Aguero. “We are there.

“The club has made a big investment in a lot of players and now City is one of the best known teams in the world and we are here to win titles.

“We want to do well, with humility and with calm, but we want to do what we did last season.”
