The Premier League winners have rejected links towards the Spanish midfielders.

Recent rumours have suggested that the former Arsenal man Cesc Fabregas and his current team mate Barcelona man Sergio Busquets were plans of a City raid on the Spanish Giants.
But Barcelona hit back at City for trying to ‘unsettle’ their players. And the English club have stated they will not be going after the pair.
A Manchester City statement said: “There’s no basis to these claims and the club has neither made nor is it planning to make an offer for these players.”
After Netherlands international Nigel de Jong left for Milan, City strengthened their midfield in the summer with the acquisition of Javi Garcia from Benfica. But could do with more depth in the Yaya Toure position.
Fabregas left Arsenal for Camp Nou in summer 2011, for an initial fee believed to be in the region of £23.5 million, while Busquets has been at the club his entire career, joining the youth team in 2005.
