Numerous Unconfirmed reports coming from France have claimed today that Arsenal have officially offered 7million euro (£6million) for Uruguayan forward Diego Rolan.
The 19-year-old forward currently plays for the Defensor Sporting club of Montevideo and is believed to be a target for French side Bordeaux as they seek to replace Yoann Gouffran who departed for Newcastle this week.
The Ligue 1 side have offered a loan move to Defensor for Rolan with the option to purchase, at the end of the season, if successful However, radio station France Info in Bordeaux are reporting that the Gunners have already put in a bid of 7million euro for the youngster as they seek to blow Bordeaux’s bid out of the water. The report appears to have originated from a local agent appointed by Arsenal.
Reports from Uruguay over the weekend claimed that Defensor Sporting president Dante Prato is in talks with four European clubs although he told Uruguyan newspaper El Spectador that Rolan is more likely to end up playing in France. However, both Arsenal and Lazio are known to have been watching Rolan who has scored 10 goals in 35 league games for Defensor since making his debut in 2011.
However, the Gunners signing him seems very unlikely after what the Arsenal boss himself said:
“I cannot promise we will sign anybody today, tomorrow, Tuesday or on Wednesday because at the moment we are not close to anything,”"It is not about optimism. How realistic I am is most important.”

Pls wenger buy him and he is a good player!
